How We Use Your Personal Information (Data Protection)
All personal information that We may collect (including, but not limited to, your name and address) will be collected, used and held in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and your rights under that Act.
We may use your personal information to:
Provide Our Service to you;
Process your payment for the Service; and
Inform you of new products and services available from Us. You may request that We stop sending you this information at any time.
We will not pass on your personal information to any other third parties [without first obtaining your express permission].
Standard Industry Cancellation Fees Apply To All Bookings: Payments are non-refundable. If you cancel after receipt of your deposit, you will forfeit the deposit. If you cancel less than 31 days before arrival, 100% of the total amount will be retained.
Terms and Conditions
All Bookings are taken subject to acceptance of the below:
Arrival and departure: Arrival is anytime after 4pm. Departure is 10am. Guests staying in the Eco Retreat of Finca de Arrieta do have access to the shared areas including a shower room and toilets at all times.
Tentative Bookings can be Reserved until 10am the following morning at our discretion, after which a 30% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Payment in full is required 1 month prior to your arrival. If for any reason the payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and will retain deposits.
A credit card number is required for damage/security purposes. Lanzarote Retreats is authorised to deduct monies to cover the cost of additional/excess cleaning, damages, repairs, replacement of goods or any other breaches of these terms and conditions. This includes leaving unwashed dishes and smoking inside. Any additional fees will be charged to guests credit card facilities after their departure.
Accommodation must be left in a clean and tidy manner removing all rubbish, bottles, food and personal items.
All accommodations are non-smoking, we ask guests to smoke outside. A fee of 250 Euros applies to smoking inside. This charge covers the costs associated with removing cigarette smoke from soft furnishings, rugs, yurt linings and bedding.
Pets are not allowed in any of our accommodations.
Lanzarote Retreats will accept no responsibility for any inconvenience with machinery breakdown. Lanzarote Retreats endeavours to repair or replace anything brought to their attention.
Documentation: Lanzarote Retreats can not be held responsible for guests unable to arrive due to expired passports or documents.
Travel Insurance: Lanzarote Retreats recommends all guests take out adequate travel insurance. It is the responsibility of guests to arrange their own travel insurance before they travel. This will usually cover the costs incurred through the inability to travel through illness, your death or that of a close relative, loss of baggage, flight cancellation, repatriation in the event of illness and also other benefits.
Date Changing / Lead Guest Name Changing: If a guest wishes to change their holiday dates or transfer their booking to another guest, a €100 Euros Administration Fee applies (€300 for Villa Palacio/Luna Mar/Las Palmitas/Casa Volcan). Lanzarote Retreats reserve the right to authorize; Date or Lead Guests changes. Date changes must be confirmed at least three months before the arrival date on the original booking and are subject to the discretion of Lanzarote Retreats. No refund will be given if you choose a lower price accommodation or season. If you choose to reduce your number of nights stay, no refund will be given on nights not used.
Bookings which include in the price a courtesy Toyota Hybrid Car: Drivers must; be over 25 years of age, have had a full driving licence for at least 2 years and bring their original licence and passport with them. Guests of less than 25 years of age are not permitted to drive the courtesy car. If you breach any of these conditions, no monetary refund will be offered on the booking.
Covid-19: Before travel, you will need to complete a passenger locator form for every guest (via https://www.spth.gob.es/) Form not required if arriving from within Spanish Territory. This can be completed in advance of your arrival and accessed when needed by the authorities. As of 23 November, you will be required to show proof of a negative Covid-19 test, taken no later than 72 hours earlier. This should not be an NHS test; you should seek a test privately. We highly recommend you have appropriate travel insurance in place. Lanzarote Retreats are not held responsible for Government Covid rule changes, seek up to date details before travel.
If you are unable to travel due to Covid-19 and Border Disruptions, we recommend you consult your insurance provider in the first instance. If you are not covered please follow these guidelines:
- Please contact Lanzarote Retreats no earlier than 21 days before arrival to assess if border disruptions are likely to still be in place.
- Once full payment has been made, Lanzarote Retreats will offer a date change option. To activate your date change and rebook, contact Lanzarote Retreat no earlier than 3 months prior to your new chosen arrival date. If your original holiday home is unavailable Lanzarote Retreats will endeavour to offer to accommodate you in a similar holiday home. The fee for this date change is €100 (€300 Villa Palacio/Luna Mar/Las Palmitas/Casa Volcan) per booking and due when you reschedule new dates.
We ask that guests please appreciate that Lanzarote Retreats is a small, family-operated company. We will do our utmost to ensure you can enjoy your well-deserved holiday at a later date. The date change fee is a small way for us to cover costs on holiday homes sitting empty due to guests not able to travel as planned.
