Casa Volcan è una splendida e lussuosa villa su due livelli, che un tempo è stata la dimora principale della famiglia Braddock. Ecco perché la casa rispecchia così tanto la personalità dei fondatori di Lanzarote Retreats. Una bellissima villa decorata secondo uno standard molto elevato che comprende mobili selezionati a mano, la cui selezione è il risultato di viaggi in famiglia in tutto il mondo. È il luogo ideale per staccare dalla frenesia della vita quotidiana e ricarica le batterie.
La casa si trova nel tranquillo villaggio di Tabayesco che si affaccia sia sui vulcani di Lanzarote che sull’Oceano Atlantico. La Garita Beach a Arrieta è a soli 1 km di distanza ed è ideale per nuotare o gustare un pasto di pesce fresco e specialità delle Canarie nei ristoranti locali, che sono aperti tutto l’anno.
La villa può ospitare fino a 12 persone e un neonato (possiamo aggiungere una culla, se necessario). I suoi ampi spazi e la meravigliosa vista mare ne fanno la location perfetta per una vacanza in famiglia o con gli amici. È l’ideale per ospitare grandi gruppi di persone, ma non temere: avrai sempre una stanza o un posticino in cui rifugiarti quando avrai bisogno di un po’ di privacy.

Alcuni gradini in pietra vulcanica ti condurranno prima al giardino ghiaioso e poi all’ingresso della villa.
La sala d’ingresso è a pianta aperta per la cucina completamente attrezzata e granito top bar per la colazione, e la cucina moderna è completamente attrezzata per tutte le vostre esigenze self-catering e viene fornito completo di forno / induzione-piano / gas piano cottura / grill, lavastoviglie, grande frigorifero, congelatore e microonde.
Quattro delle camere da letto della villa e due delle camere doccia / bagnato con w.c e lavandini sono accessibili da questo corridoio principale.
La grande master suite ha eccezionali viste panoramiche sul mare / montagna attraverso le sue doppie porte patio e finestre dal pavimento al soffitto. Il livello superiore della suite ha pavimenti in legno e un letto matrimoniale super king-size con accesso alla terrazza in legno e ulteriore grande terrazza solarium. Il livello inferiore della suite vanta un grande armadio walk-in, bagno a pianta aperta in piedi sul pavimento in marmo, doccia e lavandino. C’è un’ulteriore doccia / camera bagnata con un secondo lavandino, W.C e asciugacapelli.
La seconda camera da letto dispone di letti singoli e di una splendida vista mare, che si intravede attraverso le ampie finestre. Anche la terza camera dispone di letti singoli e ha una bella vista sul giardino. La quarta camera da letto è dotata di letti gemelli e si affaccia sul giardino.
Da questo livello superiore del corridoio, si passa attraverso doppie porte scorrevoli e proseguire lungo le ampie scale coperte all’aperto. Qui si arriva nella terrazza a lato aperto con un tavolo da ping-pong e un tavolo da pranzo insieme a un divano letto di autentici divani marocchini. La terrazza si affaccia sul giardino della villa, che è dotato di amaca e barbecue.
Seguendo su giù 3 gradini aggiuntivi, si accede al soggiorno spazioso open-plan. L’ambiente è molto luminoso e offre una magnifica vista mare. Ha una porta scorrevole del patio lunga 5 metri che si apre sulla piscina riscaldata solare e sulla terrazza lava / coperta.
La quinta camera da letto e la quarta doccia / camera bagnata sono entrambe accessibili dal soggiorno. Questa camera da letto è ideale per una coppia con il suo letto super king-size (180cm) e vista sulla zona piscina chill-out e sul mare. La doccia / camera umida ha accesso al lucernario naturale ed è completo di W.C e lavandino.
La sesta camera da letto con vista sul mare dal suo letto incorporato king-size è accessibile esclusivamente dall’area della piscina attraverso una botola idraulica in legno, è un sub-terreno quindi ideale per adolescenti o coppie.
All’esterno della piscina, goditi l’ambiente tranquillo e la vista ininterrotta sul mare dalla terrazza coperta ombreggiata, che si affaccia sulla piscina privata riscaldata a energia solare di 8 x 4 metri.
C’è una lavanderia / palestra separata con lavatrice e attrezzatura da palestra a cui si accede dal giardino superiore e la villa è completa di TV a schermo piatto con porte USB e porte HDMI, docking station, wifi sicuro e in fibra ottica.

NOTA BENE:
all’ingresso c’è una porta di vetro che può essere chiusa per impedire ai bambini di accedere all’ampia scala, che però rimane comunque accessibile dalla sala da pranzo. Vale anche la pena menzionare il fatto che la piscina è facilmente accessibile dalla zona giorno principale, quindi si prega di essere consapevoli della sicurezza dei bambini molto piccoli e dei non nuotatori.

Tabayesco
La villa è incastonata nella verdeggiante vallata che sovrasta Arrieta, nel pittoresco pueblo di Tabayesco. Il paese è costituito da due strade principali: da una parte c'è la chiesetta locale, dall'altra il circolo di Tabayesco. La vista da quassù è incredibile, si estende dalla vallata fino alla costa. Tabayesco è un autentico pueblo canario situato in un contesto meraviglioso, lontano dal caos delle località più turistiche. Si trova a 25 minuti di macchina dall'aeroporto. Le colline di Temisa, la valle che circonda il paese, sono tra le più verdi di Lanzarote. Da lì partono decine di sentieri che si snodano nella vallata, tra cui il circuito ciclistico che viene percorso ogni anno dai partecipanti all'Iron Man. La valle è costellata di casolari tradizionali che gli abitanti del posto utilizzavano per conservare la frutta e la verdura che coltivavano nei campi. Questa piccola regione è quasi totalmente incontaminata, fatta eccezione per le coltivazioni. È il posto ideale per esplorare e conoscere meglio l'ambiente dell'isola. Guardando più da vicino, scoprirai le numerose specie di uccelli che popolano queste vallate, tra cui i gheppi, pernici e gufi. Nel pueblo di Arrieta, poi, potrai ammirare la splendida spiaggia de La Garita, che si trova a poca distanza dalla nostra Finca de Arrieta.Gallery

Me and 11 friends went to this gorgeous villa for my 30th Birthday this March It was excellent value for money and we got cheap flights too! The villa was just beautiful! The mountain and sea views are stunning. Especially when sitting with friends and music playing in the balcony of the master bedroom. The villa was clean and all friends who stayed were very happy to be staying. We only wish we had stayed for longer. The area is lovely and a short walk to the town and beach. There is a yummy Mojito bar on the beach we went twice in our 3 day stay and a lovely restaurant which also catered for vegans a 20 min car ride from the villa. They served vegan burgers too! They had traditional food and the place was recommend to us by Lanzarote retreats Lanzarote retreats very very attentive, helpful and if we had any queries only waited a few minutes to get a response. I would definitely stay here again and also stay at a villa hosted by Lanzarote retreats Perfect holiday!

We booked direct with lanzarote retreats, and Karen was a god send in helping us! Josh (aka Jonathon) picked us up at the airport and was great craic! Casa Volcan is THEE BEST! Great layout, clean, spacious and exactly what we needed. Close to beautiful Arrieta and just minutes from the main Finca, we felt right at home. We went to Paella night, which was well worth the money, and made full use of the eco car. The pool was maintained, the house mini cleaned and sheets changed half way through our 10day stay. Free loo rolls and sugar in the honesty shop and one of the most relaxing places I’ve ever encountered! We even used the BBQ and it was brilliant! Thank you everyone xx

I was looking for a place where I could retreat for a whole month. Regenerating, contemplating, being creative. I found it with Casa Volcan. Since I was mainly on my own there, I didn't make use of all the beautiful rooms, but totally enjoyed the masterbedroom with the stunning view of the ocean and mountains, watching the sunrise right out of bed. I loved the different outside places to sit and read or sunbath. it didn't matter from where the wind blew there was always some nice spot to sit outside even when it was quite stormy. I loved the pool area. the closeness to the beach and sweet Arrieta. this area of the island is really quiet and Tabayesco the little village the casa is located very laid back. so if you are looking for quietness, beautiful nature surrounding you, a spacious and bright house. Casa Volcan is your choice. I could be a littel bit more cosy especially if you travel in wintertime. there is no heating and the evenings could be cold. the tile floors could use some carpets at the area of the sofa in the living room to make it more cosy, but if you are there in summertime I guess it's not problem. There is also no dining table inside the house. it's outside. so keep that in mind if you travel in winter. Michelle, Josh and Tila are really easy going and very kind and open. Service is definitely on their program. The whole stuff is very nice and helpful as well. despite being cold at times (due to the weather in missing heater) I totally enjoyed my month there. and will come back.

This villa was truly beautiful, very clean and well presented. The rooms were generously sized, especially the master bedroom. Kitchen had everything needed to cook for 12 people! Lots of bathrooms, hot water, and great furnishings to have all 12 people around a table. Very well thought out. Pool was a bit chilly for winter (as expected) but would imagine it’s great in warmer months. Overall a terrific villa, easy to find and park at, especially helpful having transport and a car included in the villa. Josh, who helped us with everything, was always available and nearby, and showed us around the place and gave us great recommendations for places nearby.

We came as a family of 5 adults, leaving stressful environments and turbulent times behind. Casa Volcán with its tranquility, beauty, unobtrusive luxury and access to fabulous sites - made easy by the car parked outside our door - restored us to sociable, appreciative human beings in the space of a week. We shared our time between lounging on the sun deck or by the pool, visiting select sites that provided insights into the holistic concept of urban planning, art and tourism, and hiking at Caldera Blanca and along the coast line. Our hosts met us with great generosity and were responsive to our needs. It\\\'s been a unique and wonderful experience that we will always remember. We found this place after staying at the nearby finca de arrieta and decided next year we must come back with family and friends and rent this amazing villa. We have just returned from our trip and we were not disappointed. We were a group of three different families but the place is large enough no one feels on top of each other. In the evenings there is a lovely space for everyone to eat together. The pool is amazing and the boys loved the man cave - we thought we might have to leave them behind. It is a nice walk down to the beach and we had a few meals at the local restaurant sitting watching the waves as the sun sets. A great find was the camper van along the way which serves up fantastic mojitos to a groovy beat. We will be back!

Nearby is the sea with a great fish restaurant. and nice places to go to. whole Lanzarote is beautiful. From the north to the south , the east and west. The volcano, the villages, the sea. Lots of different landscapes!!! The people are very kind and the food is fine. The prices are good.

I have just returned from staying at Casa Volcan for ten days and I was so impressed I have already booked for next year. This is truly an amazing and luxurious villa that deserves far more than five stars!!!Tila,Michelle, their beautiful family and the whole team at Lanzarote Retreats look after your every need from the time they pick you up at the airport , pour you a very welcomed glass of cava, drop you to the villa and come back to collect you when it's time to fly home. The villa has so much space, an abundance of rooms and all the rooms are decorated to a very high standard with beautiful furniture and art pieces. It is very well maintained and the modern kitchen is very well equipped . On arrival you get a welcome pack including milk, tea, coffee, crisps and a chilled bottle of cava .They also offer in house dining which was a great option the first night we arrived. It was lovely to open the fridge to find a roast chicken , a variety of salads and a luxurious breakfast for the next morning already in situ. This villa is perfect for a family or even a few families and the team at Lanzarote Retreats have thought of everything to ensure you enjoy every moment of your holiday. I travelled with my two children and my parents and we all thought this was the most amazing villa we have ever stayed in. It is quite difficult to put into words how perfect it is - the amazing decor, the views, the space, the rustic and quiet surroundings, the lounging areas, the barbecue area, the pool, the roof terrace, the beach close by, the local surf school, the hybrid car which comes with the villa, the authenticity of the locality which allows one to experience the 'true Lanzarote', the adventures to be had both by foot and by road, the cool breeze ,glorious sunshine and outstanding restaurants . I cannot tell you how delighted I am to have found this outstanding villa and have not stopped telling all my friends. My only concern is that it is so perfect this gem of a property will definitely become very , very popular. Thank you and we are very much looking forward to our return visit next Summer.

We were lucky to have spent Christmas in this fantastic villa with far reaching views. There were 6 of us including 2 teenagers. This is a very individual property and it really has the WOW factor, right from the moment that you open the door. It has been finished to a very high standard. The clever layout of the villa allows for plenty of space for a larger group of people. Lovely pool and roof terrace for sunbathing and we loved using the Bar B Q and sleeping in the hammock! It is also in a great location and is a few minutes drive from sandy Arrieta beach and good for people who enjoy walks in the surrounding countryside. My husband is a keen cyclist and he loved the hill climbs and beautiful scenery. Spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out in the area and close to many of the visitor attractions. We will definitely be coming back as there is something for everyone in the family.

We are a family that likes being together but not in each others pocket and Casa Volcan gave us exactly what we were looking for. Every morning we were greeted by the sun rising through the panoramic window of the Master bedroom, we felt so lucky as it put a wonderful smile on my face and reminded us it was still dark and raining back home. The house is well organised so the kids can have their own bedrooms in the lower area of the house or you can be right next to each other (depending on the size of your family or party).We opted for the split arrangement but the house has a dining area that joins the two sections, so we had breakfast together every morning in the sun, to set the day off. The purpose for our holiday was to get the sun and burn off some of the Christmas excess. I am a keen cyclist and the house is at the cross roads of some of the most stunning and challenging(if you want them to be) routes I have ever ridden. To the right, Tabayesco and the amazing mountain climbs over extinct volcano's and the West of the Island. Turn left and within 800 metres you were alongside the beach and the coast road linking the North and South of the Island. Cycling on the Island is very popular and there are routes to suit any standard of cyclist. Also, the roads are so much quieter and cycle friendly than at home. The rest of the family wanted to surf a little, run in the mornings and then worship the sun. The house allows for all of this on site with a fabulous pool and sun deck area or a 10 minute walk to the local beach and beach bar. We did a bit of both, but, we also drove over to the other side of the Island (Half hour) to visit the more challenging surf beach of Famara and watch the Sun set over extinct Volcano's..WOW!
In the evening our broadband community members chilled out for an hour or so before we either had a family meal or barbecue in the house or visited one of the excellent local restaurants . Very Impressed and ready for more.

We have stayed in the Braddock family's yurts before down the hill at the finca, and just adore this place. But as my kids got older, we wanted to still enjoy this perfect location, but have a bit more space to ourselves, and the Casa Volcan did the trick. And some. A stunning design, it is one of those houses that made me feel as if I wish I lived here all year round. Especially the main bedroom. AMAZING! Being a single Mum there did feel like a bit of a waste, however, it is such a romantic room! With views out to the mountains and also to the sea, the sunsets and rises were so stunning, I hardly left the roof terrace. As my teenagers slept in, I went off for morning runs across the offroad tracks just beside the villa which led down to the sea, The perfect circuit at sunrise. Then dip in the pool before breakfast. Love the nearby Haria Market, the nearby shops and of course, the beach at Arrietta which is just always our favourite. My kids' favourite thing in the world is to swim out to the pier, jump off and swim back to shore. Again and again and again. And that's what we hope to do with Casa Volcan as well. Go again and again and again. And i must confess, I love it so much, I almost don't want to review it, because I want to pretend it is mine, and not share it at all. It is that sort of place. Go enjoy.

I sit around the pool, dry Martini in hand neither shaken or stirred (Me nor the drink) it occurs to me that this is in fact, the life. Sun beating down on me, on Casa Volcakn, I am living the life of Mr Bond without a baddy or third nipple in sight (Scaramanga reference for fans like me). If I had the inclination I could easily head down into the quaint village of Arrieta to sample one of their many (excellent restaurants) but today Ill keep a low profile, otherwise surely Id risk blowing my cover?
OK some fantasy involved here, but during our stay, my family (5 of us including 15 year old son, 11 year old daughter and 59 year old Mother in Law) and 2 x couples weve had a ball in our new arrangement.
Ive stayed in many of Tila and Michelles fantastic accommodations before, from Yurts to Cottages, and so I knew theyd make every effort to look after me and mine. There is always a hybrid car included in the rental to explore my favourite island with, and a never-ending (Quality list) of places to eat and drink. But I have to say, such is the size and quality of Casa Volcan that its tempting to stay put and take advantage of the facilities.
I will mention that the Huge house has 6 bedrooms, and can accommodate 13 people. Well appointed everything means that Lanza Retreats version of Q has been at work and every mod con is available so you can expect to be home from home, but perhaps on a grander scale than you are used to.
The really special appeal of Casa Volcan is the privacy that everyone gets in such a spacious Casa. We could all be on separate holidays in the same place if it werent for that fact that we like each other enough to spend time with each other anyway. The fact that M (Mother in law) is here isnt too much of a distraction whilst my Bond Girl and I reacquaint ourselves with each other.

- Michelle was super helpful in giving me all the information. The house was fantastic and is bigger than in the images. The beds were very comfortable and everything in the house was immaculate. The house is in a lovely quiet part of the island, great location. Would highly recommend.

The most spectacular thing about Casa Volcan was the views over the Northern part of the Island and Arrieta (the local village/town). The peace and quite in the evenings was lovely and I'm sure most of the noise came from our family. On arrival we were greeted by Josh who made us feel very welcome with a glass of Cava for our journey to the villa which made us feel very spoilt. The villa is perfect for large groups as there is plenty of space inside and out. My 3 boys aged 3 and 10 absolutely loved all the different levels and thought it was the best place to play hide and seek. The Villa is tiled throughout and has a few stairs leading from room to room so wouldn't recommend it for families with toddlers or babies just learning to walk. Casa Volcan is a unique villa which has been developed to a very high standard, each room was clean and well presented especially the master bedroom, this was fantastic. The Island of Lanzarote is only small so using the hire car provided by Lanzarote Retreats we were able to explore the rest of the island very easily, making the most of our 1 week stay. Finally I would like to say a special thank you to the team for helping me with my sons accident it was a very worrying time for us. Unfortunately I didn't get the Spanish gentleman's name who went out of his way to take us to hospital so please pass on our thanks, we were so grateful.
