Casa Lila, una villa per vacanze in stile moderno, è situata in un complesso privato e recintato ben tenuto di sei ville per le vacanze, che condividono una piscina riscaldata a energia solare di 3,5 x 5 metri. La villa è la scelta ideale per una vacanza al mare – per le coppie, le famiglie con bambini piccoli e per gli ospiti che desiderano trascorrere le ferie in una villa accanto ad amici o familiari. Casa Lila può essere prenotata accanto alla Casa Hibiscus con tre camere da letto, accanto ma una.
Casa Lila si trova nel tranquillo villaggio di pescatori di Punta Mujeres, un luogo in cui gli ospiti possono sperimentare lo stile di vita rilassato tipico di Lanzarote. Passeggia lungo il lungomare fino al bar di tapas low key per il pranzo, goditi piatti tradizionali in una varietà di ristoranti locali o vai in spiaggia lungo la costa. Punta Mujeres è un villaggio affascinante ed è a 25 minuti a piedi lungo il lungomare fino ad Arrieta, dove è possibile trovare una varietà di ristoranti e la spiaggia di sabbia dorata di La Garita. È anche a soli 15 minuti di auto dalla famosa località di Costa Teguise, con tutti i suoi servizi, la spiaggia di sabbia dorata e gli sport acquatici.
La villa, poco distante dal mare, è disposta su tre livelli ed è dotata di cancelletti di sicurezza per bambini.
Piano terra: L’ingresso alla villa, che si trova sul retro della terrazza privata rivolta a sud, conduce in un salotto spazioso con vista sulla terrazza e sulla zona pranzo all’aperto. Accogliente e accogliente, è ben arredata e dispone di WIFI gratuito, smart TV, DVD e impianto stereo. Adiacente al salone c’è una cucina attrezzata, completa di fornello, piano cottura elettrico, lavastoviglie, microonde, frigorifero e tostapane. Punta Mujeres
Un piccolo e tranquillo villaggio di pescatori dove è possibile assaporare la cultura locale lontano dalle principali zone turistiche. Si tratta di un luogo perlopiù sconosciuto ai grandi operatori turistici. Punta Mujeres è un gioiello nascosto, noto solo ai pescatori locali e a pochi viaggiatori. Si trova a soli 40 minuti di auto dall'aeroporto e a poca distanza da tutte le altre attrazioni di Lanzarote. Questo piccolo paesino non fa parte delle solite rotte turistiche, anzi. Molti viaggiatori passano oltre quando capitano da queste parti, e proseguono verso le principali attrazioni situate nelle vicinanze, come il Jameos del Agua o la Cueva de los Verdes. La costa di Punta Mujeres è costellata da piscine naturali che si riempiono con l'arrivo dell'alta marea e diventano la location perfetta per un tuffo in compagnia di tutta la famiglia. La principale piscina naturale è dominata da "La Pescina", il tapas bar preferito della gente del posto che serve vini locali e piatti tradizionali preparati al momento. Nei dintorni ci sono anche splendide calette sabbiose tutte da esplorare. Ci sono tanti piccoli supermercati sparsi per il villaggio, ad esempio la panetteria Las Rosas, e una buona selezione di ristoranti, tra cui Palenke, conosciuto per la sua griglia alimentata a legna e per l'intrattenimento dal vivo. La maggior parte degli abitanti del villaggio ha costruito le proprie case il più vicino possibile al mare, creando viuzze e vicoli ciechi molto caratteristici. Le case si fondono le une con le altre fino a confondersi con il paesaggio circostante, dato che sono costruite in pietra vulcanica. A Punta Mujeres ci sono numerose terrazze e graziosi balconi dipinti di blu, colore che un tempo indicava le abitazioni dei pescatori locali. Più avanti, lungo la costa, ti imbatterai nei resti di un vecchio mulino e di un piccolo porto. Un'ulteriore eco del passato di Punta Mujeres. Punta Mujeres si trova in una posizione privilegiata rispetto ad altri villaggi della costa. È protetta da colline rocciose che si sono formate a causa di antiche colate laviche provenienti dal Monte Corona, il vulcano più grande e più antico dell'isola. Da Punta Mujeres, con le spalle rivolte al mare, puoi facilmente scorgerne la sagoma. Al tempo delle eruzioni, la lava ha ricoperto tutta la zona intorno al vulcano. I tunnel che formano il Jameos del Agua e la Cueva de los Verdes sono stati tutti creati dalle eruzioni che si sono propagate dal Timanfaya.Gallery

Nos gustó mucho la casa! Tiene todas las prestaciones que uno pueda pedir y las que no se nos hubieran ocurrido. Nos sorprendió la amplitud de los espacios (son 3 alturas) y la comodidad de las habitaciones/camas. Tiene estancia de trabajo, lo cual agradecí. El balcón en la habitación con vistas al mar es una gozada. El pueblo es muy tranquilo y estuvimos muy a gusto. Si volvemos, repetiremos!

We found Casa Lila to be just what we needed for our family holiday in Lanzarote. Spacious, homely, fully equipped and comfortable bedrooms - particularly the master suite with its dressing area and beautiful bathroom. There were toys and games for children and a Netflix package for when we just needed to relax and watch a film together. Little extras in the kitchen like a cool box and Tupperware boxes meant that we could pick picnics for the beach. It has a wonderful location in a quiet cul de sac right behind the sea front. There is a sea view from the upstairs balcony which was a wonderful place to sit and have breakfast. The sea front in Punta Mujeres is interesting and great for children with its rocky bays and little pools to find crabs and fish. My children loved to collect shells, stones, sea glass and other treasures in the little rock pools. There is a restaurant, a cafe and a mini market all very close by. Further south (a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk) is Arrieta with its sandy beach and further restaurants etc. Also here you will find Finca de Arrieta, the owner’s eco resort which we had full use of. We loved the honesty concept and the communal spaces around the pool and playground. We made full use of the beach equipment to borrow and my daughter was able to ‘body board’ almost every day! The north of Lanzarote is traditional, untouristy and unspoiled. We were near many of the most sought after cultural locations to visit and I loved that we felt we had an authentic Lanzarote experience. Thank you for having us! We can’t wait to come back!

Lovely quiet spot, close to the sea and bathing pools. Not far from various beaches. Much nicer than the more touristy south part of the island. Easy to find from the airport. Villa has pretty much everything you need & was clean and comfy with a thoughtful welcome pack. We have an 8 yr old so the pool was great. It's pretty cold though! Would have liked access to the courtyard at the back for drying clothes (key jammed in door) instead of putting airer at the front. We ordered an arrival lunch which was delicious. The owners/managers at the yurt site are extremely helpful. I'd recommend this place if you want to explore the island as it's a great base and if you prefer self catering.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The best part was staying in the tiny fishing village of Punta Mujeres and interact with the locals simply by having a cortado or getting a beer with the others.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
This is the best slow travel I have experienced. Highyl recommended, if you want to walk, trek, read, write, have great food and surrounded by simple, kind people. An unforgettable holiday where the pace was slow and the locals very kind including the mini market at Punta Mujeres, the hair dresser and folks at Bar Palenka. Make the effort to hang out with the locals, apart from walking along the coast all the way to Jameous Del Aqua and La Cueva de Les Verdes. One can easily do without a car. The buses are reliable. If you enjoy quiet, this is the place for unhurried reflection and watching birds, sun rises and sun sets. The coast was three mins from our villa.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I think it certainly helped the local people, considering there were no hotel or supermarket chains. It helped the environment, considering we did not have a car and were limited to walking or taking the local bus. Our visits to some tourist spots contributed to conservation, I hope.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent. No complaints. But the service from Lanzarote Retreats could be even better. It was not always easy to get information especially about transport. But other than that, the locals were friendly and it could have been better.

We stayed at Casa Lila, Punta Mujeres for a week at the end of November. Our holiday was just perfect, away from any of the busy tourist areas and every detail had been thought of in the Vila, I would highly recomend it. Michelle and Tila couldn't have made us feel more welcome and we are looking forward to our next visit in the Spring.

Stayed at Casa Lila in Punta Mujeres. The guys at Lanzarote Retreats were very helpful and we had a great time in Lanzarote. The villa was excellent and exactly as described. Punta Mujeres itself is pretty quiet but a great spot for exploring the rest of the Island.

Just back from staying at Casa Lila. Probably one of the best generally equipped Villa's I have ever stayed at. Punta Mujeres is fairly quiet but great location for relaxing or exploring the island. Michelle and her team are very helpful and great fun! We will definatley be using Lanzarote Retreats again but in another location to experience other locations. Casa Lila is a lovely villa and we do not see how anyone would be disappointed staying here however a car is essential as not much nightlife nearby, but we went for a relatively relaxing holiday so were not too bothered. We actually got engaged whilst there!!!!! Thanks for an enjoyable holiday Michelle....

This was our first time in Lanzarote and the first time we stayed in a fixed accommodation (Casa Lila). We had a lovely relaxing time (if only possible with 2 boys)! Casa Lila is really lovely and a great accomodation to stay in. The village is quiet (loved it) and a good starting point to explore the island.

We stayed at Casa Lila for a week in early June 2012. The property is beautifully furnished and equipped, and very spacious! The was a welcome pack of Pink Cava, Milk, PG Tips and Crisps awaiting our arrival which was a lovely touch. The pool and court yard area is great, and despite sharing with a few other villas it feels very private. There are plenty of great restaurants and beaches in walking distance (particularly in Arrieta), but we would wholly recommend hiring a car to explore the rest of this beautiful island.

We had a great stay at the Casa Lila. Punta Mujeres is a lovely village and it's a great location to visit most of the intersting sites of Lanzarote. We found all the pieces of information given in the booklet left at the villa very helpful. Next time we'll stay a little longer (we only stayed 3 days!)

Un sjour exceptionnel sur cette ile magnifique. Nous avons tous trs apprci notre sjour Punta Mujeres, sur cette ile de Lanzarote, le bon vin, le soleil, les petits marchs, les petits restaurants locaux.
Nous avons galement beaucoup aim cette location, toute proche de la mer, superbement quipe. Egalement Les ballades le long du littoral, les baignades dans l'ocan ou dans les piscines le long du front de mer. Location idalement situe.
Merci pour vos bons conseils (la ballade avec Jos dans les volcans, l'adresse du club de windsurf pour Elose et le fameux Charlie...) Merci pour la paella et votre accueil...

This was our first time to Lanzarote and we were pleasantly surprised by what the island has to offer. Casa Lila was spacious, modern, comfortable and well equipped including everything we needed for a toddler! The sandy beach at Arrieta was only 5 minutes away and we also used the pool. I would definitely recommend hiring a car, we went out exploring every day. In particular we liked the surfing beach, Famara, and we particularly liked the village of Teguise where we ate at La Cantina but there appeared to be lots of other lovely restaurants. The vineyards are well worth a visit to stock up on some fine wines and we enjoyed visiting a number of the attractions related to Cesar Manrique whose influence on the island has ensured it remains characteristic and picturesque. The weather was a lovely temperature, even though there were a few showers, we couldnt believe it when we arrived back in the UK to snow!

Just returned from a stay at Casa Lila. Had a lovely few days, I've stayed in a few apartments on Lanzarote over the years, and Casa Lila is definitely one of the best! Well equipped, felt safe being on my own, great for a stay of a few days or much longer. Loved hearing the sound of the sea every night.. hope to return soon..
