The Ocean View Penthouse has been finished to a high standard and offers breathtaking views. Its interior has been designed to be modern, light and very spacious giving a luxurious setting for your holiday. Its 3 double beds are an extra-large 180 wide and have the top of the range mattresses for extra comfort.
There is a master bedroom, 2nd bedroom with king-size double and single bed, double sofa bed in the living room with sea views (we can supply additional cot bed).
The living room has high wood ceilings and panoramic views overlooking the entire bay of La Cucharas. Its designer tiles and wood floor add to its modern loft ambience. There is 1 wet room style bathroom, 1 walk-in shower room and 1 additional toilet room with a washbasin and a hairdryer.
This sophisticated penthouse has been furnished to a very high standard in a chic, modern style. The large, glazed lounge area has panoramic views over Costa Teguise and Las Cucharas bay.
Our Ocean View Penthouse is also ideal for honeymoon couples or any other romantic break. With beautiful panoramic Ocean views from the main living area and terrace, the Ocean View apartment is the perfect setting for romance!
The massive terrace offers total privacy for sunbathing, it has a shaded area and BBQ facilities for al fresco dining. The lounge area seats 7 and the dining area has 8 chairs. We can supply bicycles if required. Car Hire not necessary as within easy walking distance to banks, supermarkets shops, bus stop and taxi rank.
Ocean View Penthouse has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, smart TV, DVD, all linen and towels provided.

Nearby attractions include; The islands water park, a Friday evening market, The famous local artist Cesar Manrique’s House, Jameos del Agua, Cactus Garden, Mirador del Rio, Green Caves etc.
The Ocean View Penthouse is next to Las Cucharas beach which is one of the best family beaches on the island and has a promenade with a great choice of restaurants and hang-outs. There is also great sports facilities at the beach where you can windsurf, boogie board, sea kayak and rent equipment and book lessons in all. There are also sun loungers and shades for rent on the golden sand beach.
This is a much-loved beach and is great for kids in that it is well serviced, from life guards to toilet & shower facilities, everything is here to ensure a great beach experience.
The historic village of Teguise is just 15 mins by car, there you can take a stroll through the meandering lanes and watch local artists at work or visit the Sunday Market. The island’s capital and airport is 15 minutes drive (Just 20-25 Euros by Taxi). The island’s only 18 hole golf course, is just behind Costa Teguise past the water park.

Having stayed at the splendid Finca de Arrieta for a few nights we finished our holiday in this magnificent apartment. It’s the sort of place you could hold a drinks reception for 100 people in - it feels very spacious - and so we coped especially well as a family of four with everyone sleeping very well, which is very rare. It is really well furnished (stylish and useful), well equipped, near the right things, and the sun terrace let’s you lord it over the smaller tasteful houses beneath and the sandy bay beyond. We now know exactly what type of accommodation we want on our next holiday and it looks like this one. Maybe we will just have to come back. What also made it for us were the Lanzarote Retreat staff who got everything just right, from making our children welcome to efficiently transferring us to and then from Arrieta and then the airport. We didn’t think we would like Costa Teguise fearing it had an element of Brits abroad about it, but were pleasantly surprised. It has a lovely calm atmosphere, plenty of good eating options and a good soul to it. The town is family-friendly and the beach and promenade are clean, well looked-after and currently being improved further. You are also well located for the North of the Island which we spent three happy days touring while in Arrieta.

Don't stay anywhere else if you want somewhere that is superbly located, immaculately clean, a great size , well equipped and managed by a friendly, family run team of very helpful people. Nothing was too much trouble, but to be honest, it was so well organised and explained you didn't need to ask for anything else. We were six adults and were very comfortable with loads of room and just the best views and location. Just loved it!!

We have just returned from another brilliant 2 week stay at the Oceanview Penthouse Apartment in Costa Teguise. Whilst there, we were treated to an incredible Airshow by the Eagle Patrol (Patrullo Águila) - Spanish equivalent of our Red Arrows - celebrating 600 years since Teguise was made capital of Lanzarote!! The display took place right in front of the Apartment - so we had front row seats from the huge balcony! We had a couple of rainy days - usually only lasted a little while, but otherwise lovely and warm with no wind and lots of sunshine. What we like best about the Apartment is that it has a beautiful sea view and is close to all the best eating places in Costa Teguise, giving you a huge choice. The Apartment itself is enormous and comfortable with everything you need included. As usual, the staff at Lanzarote Retreats were lovely and more than helpful - they have become like our holiday extended family, but we were sad to see Clare leave - we will miss her! Also, a big thank you to Tila for taking us to the Airport and helping us to the Assisted Passage counter - made it so much easier for us! We hope to be back very soon!

We have just returned from a 3 week stay at Oceanview Penthouse Apartment for the third year in a row. We loved every moment of our holiday as we had everything we needed on our doorstep - good restaurants, car hire and a beautiful view of the Ocean, which is only a few steps away from the Apartment. The balcony is unbelievable as it has a dining area, day bed and loungers and is very protected from the wind. The owners and staff of Lanzarote Retreats are extremely cheerful and helpful! Thank you Clare for all the info and advice re places of interest etc. and thanks to Michelle, Karen, Sabina, for help in general. We have already booked another 2 week break for October to get some sun before the long, cold UK winter arrives! THANK YOU ALL!!

Great location with fantastic views. The balcony is in the sun from sunrise to sunset with more than enough room for sunbathing. The apartment has a couple of restaurants and bars in the same square (with the restaurants La Tabla and Las Maretas and the wine bar 'Eatalia' being highly recommended by ourselves. The town centre is only a short walk (a few minutes) and the beach is only a couple of hundred yards away.

I booked the penthouse for a week for five of us having been met at the airport by a lovely young man he offered us a cold bottle of fizz, when arriving at our destination he helped take our bags upstairs to the penthouse where we were all blown away it was absolutely stunning it has got three very comfortable king size beds and all facilities for self catering. The only suggestion I would make is the bedroom with the stairs in maybe put a hand rail up to make you aware in the night that there are stairs close to the bed but overall we had a fantastic holiday in fantastic accommodation.

We booked to stay at the Ocean View Penthouse Apartment again after I had a stroke just before Xmas. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect place to stay to meet all our needs. We were met at the Airport by Tila (the owner) and his son Jerome, who couldn't have been more helpful - we had a lovely glass of cold bubbly on our drive to the Apartment which was most welcome. Tila then took us to meet the wonderful staff in the office of Lanzarote Retreats - from then on we were spoiled with help and advice about everything we required. I was very nervous about the holiday as it was my first trip since the stroke, but I did exactly what was ordered by my doctor and physio team - just relaxed as we sat on the HUGE balcony overlooking the ocean. There are loads of brilliant restaurants within walking distance, which was very handy as I was using a wheelchair at the time!! We sat on the balcony in the evenings and just enjoyed the view. The office staff are fantastic if you need help of any sort - Peta helped with hiring the wheelchair, and Michelle (owners wife) was always on hand for any queries we had. We also got to meet Montse who was an absolute delight - she is having a baby towards the end if the year and we shared her excitement when she found out she was having a little girl. She took us to view one of their other properties (The Beach House) which is close by and she was very helpful with any questions we had! The Apartment is properly cleaned once a week when the linen and towels are changed. The kitchenette is well equipped and the cooker is in good working order, as is the washing machine. We were then collected by Alan at the end of our three week stay - again we couldn't have wished for better service. Alan even took us to the Airport door to show us where to go for the Assisted passage! We were very sad to say goodbye to Costa Teguise after a perfect holiday and we will certainly be returning next year if not sooner!
Well what can I say ! WOW. This apartment is amazing. The Beach on the doorstep, the huge balcony to sit on and a beautiful view, what more could you ask for. But, the thing that made this even more amazing were people from Lanzarote Retreats and here's why.. My Mum is terminally ill and has talked for a while about getting on a plane again and a bit of sunshine so my 3 sisters and I decided to make this happen. Although we realised this would be difficult we didn't quite realise just how difficult it would get. Mums mobilty declined tremendously in the few weeks leading up to the trip so much so we had to take a wheelchair with us and whilst we were there she spent a lot of the days sleeping for hours. As the apartment was so lovely it was a pleasure for all of us to stay in with her. She even slept on the daybed on the balcony a few times which did her the world of good as she could jump in and out of conversations between sleeps.. On our last day we needed to be out of the apartment by 10am but were not flying until 9pm, which when I booked was not a problem as Mum was fit and mobile and we planned to have a day out and a meal before we went home. The thought of pushing mum around all day in a chair when she had been sleeping for hours most days really worried us but the guys at Lanzarote Retreats WERE AMAZING.They let us use one of their other Apartments in Arricefe for the day free of charge so Mum could have a sleep during the day. They even organised transport for us to be taken over there. So, all in all fabulous apartment, fabulous location, but most importantly a fabulous Family run business who care about their customers. The ocean view flat was beautiful, exactly what we were looking for. The place is very large, and since there was only three of us there was ample room (we each got a queen bed). The location was perfect, minutes from the beach. The balcony provided a lovely social space to eat dinner and have a few drinks. The kitchen is very well equipped, pans, plates, oil, knives ect. Also other practical things like towels, lighter and heavier bedding all provided. We were transferred to and from the airport so there really couldn't be any less stress involved. It was an ideal pad for a relaxed beach, I'll think of it fondly.

Stayed at the Penthouse with my wife and grown up family, Josh met us at the Airport with a welcoming glass of cold Cava, the Penthouse is very spacious with good facilities and views, the music hifi system as a docking station for my iPhone, we played our preferred music all week, loads of good bars and restaurants on the doorstep very reasonably priced, we made a couple of meals and there was plenty of kitchen ware.

Spent 11 nights here and were sorry to be going home. Great accommodation with plenty of room, there were only two of us so the place was massive. The veranda is a fantastic suntrap all day and a great place to chill, The square below is great with 2 of the best restaurants locally (La Tabla and Las Mertitas) and a great little wine bar serving Italian wines etc. (Eatalia) Speak to Alicia and try the Aperol Spritze. A great holiday and would definitely go back.

We stayed here for 4 nights before we then transferred to the Beach House. Wow, what can I say...... This was booked for our honeymoon and I loved the fact that it is spacious and grand with a large terrace. Very private location with a supermarket nearby, and bars, restaurants and the sea are all within a few minutes of walking. The airport transfer was great with a welcome glass of fizz for the short transfer. The Lanzarote Retreats office is nearby if you have any queries. We used First Minute Travel for a grand tour of the island and it made clear that Costa Teguise is a great base for your stay in Lanzarote, the square has a great vibe but for the height of Summer it didn't feel too manic and busy which is just how we like it.

We have just returned from a two week stay at Ocean View Penthouse Apartment. Everything was amazing from being picked up from the Airport by a lovely friendly young guy, to enjoying the spacious Apartment with a massive balcony overlooking the ocean. We were collected again this morning at 4.30am, which was an awful start for anyone and we were once again greeted with a smile and good conversation. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible!

Oceanview Penthouse - I just wanted to let you know what a great time we had in the ECO Penthouse Apartment. There were four of us and the apartment was fantastic, great use of a huge space, very clean and we all loved the decoration. Wonderful Christmas and New Year stay at the Ocean View Penthouse. Such a pleasure to watch the sun rise from the sea each morning. A great location in Costa Teguise, well placed for the beach, public transport, supermarkets and very nice restaurants. Great view of the New Year fireworks! So spacious that my husband did complain that he had a fair walk from the wine bottle in the fridge to the glass on the table on the balcony!!!! We even managed to cook a turkey with the good supply of utensils provided. Michelle, Tila and Sarah extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble ~ would love to try your other properties. Thank you so much!! Your picture calendar is now sitting on my desk reminding me why I have to work so hard!!

WEATHER: Could not have expected any better even if it had been May !!
APARTMENT: Location is perfect, immediately impressed by the sheer space and the comfort, outside area is out of this world and so are the views.
PEOPLE: The team at Lanzarote Retreats were so friendly and helpful and we found exactly the same everywhere we went on the island, and we went everywhere!
LANZAROTE: An island with a unique beauty which we have not found in any of the other Canary Islands. Excellent roads for driving, so clean and tidy it`s close to perfect, an island that all of the inhabitants should be so proud of.

We would be back again if the airlines had not stopped running from Edinburgh to Lanzarote - it is a real shame for us as we would return year after year. My partner and I have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Ocean View Penthouse. What a wonderful place, I can't recommend it highly enough.The apartment was amazing, even better than pictures. Very spacious and decorated nicely throughout. Spent many a happy hour on the outside terrace, which had the sun all day. It was lovely to wake up to the fantactic sea views every morning. Great location close to the beach and nice restaurants.Sarah from Lanzarote Retreats was a great help. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Ocean View Penthouse. It is a huge apartment so plenty of room for the four of us! Our favourite area is the huge sun terrace which has a great view of the beach and Costa Teguise. The apartment is well equipped and furnished really stylishly and is close to everything you need, supermarkets, bars & restaurants all within a couple of minutes stroll. Although the apartment is so central, its also quite private as well so you can have the best of both worlds.

FAQ's
How do I pay for my Holiday?
You pay a 30% deposit followed by the 70% balance which is due one month prior to arrival. You can pay by Credit / Debit Card, or Bank Transfer.
Are there Mosquitos?
Lanzarote does have some mosquitos, but due to the island being dry, not too many! To prevent them coming into your holiday home keep doors and windows closed from dusk.
Is the swimming pool heated?
Most of our pools are heated either by solar or electricity, please check for details on the villas features tab for full details.
What is the weather like?
The weather in Lanzarote is good all year round due to the proximity to the equator. See our Weather Page for full details.
My accommodation does not come with a car, where can I hire one from?
We recommend Plus Car, they are a local Lanzarote company and have excellent cars, they don’t add on any hidden charges and they also meet you at the airport saving you a timely wait-in-line on your arrival to the airport.
Restaurants and shops, do they close in winter?

I want to Windsurf, where should I stay and what time of year is best?
Costa Teguise offers the best windsurf conditions, see our two villas Beach House and Ocean View Penthouse which are close to the beach and windsurf centres. What to pack between October and March?
Jumper/Fleece – a jumper for evenings as Lanzarote offers lovely outdoor living and it can be cooler outside at night.
Light waterproof jacket – incase it showers (which is not very often but can catch you out)
Wetsuits – if you are planning getting in the water!
