Who’s who at Lanzarote Retreats?

If you like to put a face to a name before arriving to Lanzarote then take a look at our Profile Pictures of who you may have been in contact with or who you will meet during your stay.

Michelle Braddock – Co Founder

Originally from Dorking, I’ve lived on Lanzarote since 1993. I arrived to spend one year in work experience and within that time I met Tila. The rest as they say, is history!

Tila Braddock – Co Founder

Originally from St Albans I have lived here since 1985. I arrived to work as a windsurf instructor and I quickly fell in love with my surroundings. I’ve travelled to many places over the years, sometimes for months at a time but it’s always been Lanzarote that feels like home to me.

Joshua Braddock – Surf instruction & Airport Transfers.

I was born in Lanzarote, and have spent most of my life immersed in water. I now travel regularly between Lanzarote and the UK to compete in the UK Pro Surf Tour competitions, but when I’m home in Lanzarote I enjoy helping out with the Retreats team.

Freddie Braddock – Baby-sitting service

I was born and raised in Lanzarote. At the moment I’m studying at 6th form here on the island. Having 3 siblings I’m very used to helping out with children, I’m now available for Baby Sitting services at Finca de Arrieta during the evenings!

We are family

From time to time you may catch more Braddock family members around the retreat! There are two more children, Gerome and Monique, and they quite often enjoy helping out around the finca. Never a dull moment at the hub, and always plenty to do

HQ – Office in Costa Teguise

Peta – Reservations

Originally from Cornwall, I moved to Lanzarote 20 years ago to join my sister and her Spanish family making it my home and embracing Lanzarote life. I met my husband and we had our two daughters here. We love the island and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

Montse – Administration

I was born and brought up in Barcelona but I started my hospitality career in Scotland. When I decided to go back to the warm weather where I belong, I found no better place to do so than Lanzarote. Since then, I love exploring every corner of this magical island!

Sally – Guest Relations & Co-ordinator

My husband and I first visited Lanzarote in 1995, but moved over full time from Manchester in 2007 for more sunshine, less stress and better life for our girls! I began working with Lanzarote Retreats in January 2010 at the HQ office. Shortly that I moved over to open a guest relations office at Finca de Arrieta

Nigel – Stock Control Manager

I am Sally’s husband. I have worked in the hospitality trade for 35 years but it was always my dream to be able to come to work in flip-flops. I am now living my dream!

Ejidio – Maintenance Manager

Originally from Colombia I have lived on Lanzarote since 2007. I arrived first to make a home for my family. My wife and children soon followed and we all still enjoy the European lifestyle very much.

Maricel – Housekeeping

I am originally from Colombia but have lived in Lanzarote for 15 years and now call it home. I am the wife of Ejidio and we enjoy working together very much.

Nano – Property Maintenance

In Colombia I was originally a competitive salsa dancer in my spare time. On special occasions I offer private group sessions at the retreat! I followed my father (Ejidio), and have enjoyed living in Lanzarote with my wife Daniela.

Daniela – Housekeeper

I joined my husband Manuel to live full time in Lanzarote back in 2010. It’s been fun to be a part of the Finca de Arrieta team.

Papas – Maintenance

Originally I am from Colombia and I have lived in Lanzarote since 2005. Over the years we have built a very strong, reliable team along with Ejidio and Manuel taking care of the grounds and improving Finca de Arrieta.
