Guests choosing to stay in one of our Yurts for their holiday have the chance to experience first-hand, outdoor living in a snug yurt bedroom environment. We offer a wide range of yurts, from a single yurt unit for couples to larger and double yurt units for families.
As Lanzarote, Canary Islands is so near the equator the island offers very comfortable temperature’s all year round. With this in mind the yurts have been designed to have their kitchen and dining areas outside, which makes the most of this wonderful year round climate. The kitchen and shower rooms of each yurt are adjacent to the yurt structure and have been constructed using local stone to make solid covered rooms. The kitchen has one side left open with a breakfast bar so giving the chance to socialize whilst you cook a meal. The special design means you can enjoy outdoor living without losing the comforts from home. The kitchen has a gas oven/hob, A+ eco fridge and is fully equipped to the high standard as you would find in any of our villas.
Yurts are brilliant for all ages, we have had guests from 3 months to 81 years old, the yurts are generally on one level (some have one step) and have large shower rooms, baby baths can be provided when needed. For children they see their holiday yurt as camping and for parents we have added luxuries such as large comfortable beds, marble floors, dressing gowns, private terraces and some even have shaded day beds to lounge on with a good book or an afternoon siesta.
The Yurts maintain a good temperature year round, they keep their warmth in winter and as you can lift up the canvas sides and open the yurts top hat a breeze can be let in during the summer months.
Experiences you will enjoy on a yurt holiday range from enjoying seeing the clear starlit skies to feeling cosy at night in a snug corner free bedroom.
