Eco Pets

Finca de Arrieta is not just our family home, it is also home to our eco pets.

Collecting fresh eggs every morning is a highlight of every childs holiday at the eco retreat. With over 100 free range chickens, there are always plenty to go around.

The latest additions are are 2 resident Muscovy ducks who waddled into the retreat one morning and have never left. They are very happy here enjoying a permanent vacation!

There are also 2 turkeys which were re-homed from a local school where they were causing havoc and eating all the plants the children were growing.

The star of Finca de Arrieta is Mollie, our donkey. A gentle soul, she has found herself the perfect home and loves the attention she gets every day and will happily provide rides for our younger guests.

A bright green tree frog has also taken residence amongst the tropical plants at the finca.

We also have 2 very friendly cats Lily and Guapita and our dog Max. We do not encourage you to let these into your accommodations but you are welcome to enjoy their company.
