Suring Lanzarote, Canary Islands

The Canary Islands offering great surf spots from novice to experienced surfers, there is something for everyone on these paradise islands.

The Canary Islands “The Wild West of Surfing” are well known worldwide as offering fantastic year round surf they are situated just off the west coast of Africa.  All seven Canary Islands offer great surf conditions its swells are consistent throughout the year as well as it’s warm waters which make the Canary Islands an ideal surf destination. These Islands cater for all levels of surfing and Lanzarote is commonly known to many as the “Hawaii” of Europe due to its bathymetry being so similar to Hawaii’s. Lanzarote has powerful waves firing off its reefs throughout October to March, but is consistent enough throughout the rest of the year to score good waves whenever you visit. The Island picks up swells on its North, East and West coasts.
